Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi celebrated H.M. Queen Sirikit’s 79th Birthday Anniversary

            On 2 September 2011, the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi organized activities for Thai nationals in the UAE to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 79th Birthday Anniversary.

            The activities kicked off in the afternoon with an amicable bowling competition at the Khalifa Bowling Centre. Later in the evening, an official ceremony was held at the Ambassador’s residence with the blessing of best wishes to H.M. the Queen in the signing book, the lighting of candles and the singing of royal anthem. The activities were attended by the Thai people who are living and working in the UAE.

            The celebration of H.M. the Queen’s 79th Birthday Anniversary was organized later than usual due to the Holy Month of Ramadan, which fell on 1-29 August this year.
